Compressed air enters the PSA beds

Clean, dry compressed air is fed into adsorber vessels packed with carbon molecular sieve.

CMS separates by molecular size and speed

Oxygen, moisture and trace gases are adsorbed preferentially, allowing nitrogen to pass through.
